1. Laser curing photosensitive resin molding (SLA -- Stereo Lithography Apparatus)


Using photosensitive resin as raw material, the UV laser under computer control scans the liquid resin point by point according to the contour of each section of the predetermined part, so that the thin layer of resin in the scanned area produces photopolymerization reaction, so as to form a thin section of the part. When one layer is cured, move the table and apply a new layer of liquid resin to the surface of the cured resin for the next layer of scanning cure. The newly cured layer is firmly bonded to the previous layer, and this is repeated until the entire part is prototyped.


Materials used: transparent color photosensitive resin, opalescent photosensitive resin, etc.


Accuracy: 0.1 ~ 0.2mm


Features:


High degree of automation in the molding process, high dimensional precision and excellent surface quality


Make CAD digital model intuitive, reduce the cost of error repair processing structure and shape complex or using traditional means difficult to form the prototype and mold.




2. The SLS-se1ected Laser volume method of Laser Sintering is adopted as energy source with CO2 lasers, and the formers used sometimes are mostly various powder materials. A thin layer of powder (100μ-200μm) is uniformly spread on the workbench, and the laser beam is selectively sintered according to the layered profile of the parts under computer control. After the completion of one layer, the next layer is sintered. After all sintering to remove the excess powder, and then grinding, drying and other processing to obtain parts. At present, mature process materials for wax powder and plastic powder, metal powder, ceramic powder.


Materials used: such as nylon, ABS, resin coated sand (film coated sand),


Polycarbonate, metal and ceramic powder, etc.

3. 3D spray bonding molding (3DP -- 3Dimension Printer)


The 3DP technology was invented and patented at MIT and commercialized by ZCORP. Since the technology was invented in 1994 and gradually came to the market, it has developed rapidly in the past three or four years. The principle of this forming process is to send a certain amount of powder from the storage barrel, and then spread a thin layer of raw material on the processing platform with the powder sent out by the roller. The nozzle sprays adhesive and sticks the powder according to the two-dimensional laminate obtained after slicing the 3D computer model. After finishing a layer, the processing platform automatically drops a little, the storage bucket rises a little, and the scraper pushes the powder from the raised storage bucket to the working platform and flattens the powder. The adhesive is then sprayed and the desired shape is obtained by circulating. The usual ZCorp stereoscopic printing material is gypsum powder. This process is the only 3D printing process that can print full color samples.


Materials used: Powder materials, such as gypsum powder.


Accuracy: 0.013 ~ 0.1mm


Features:


The forming speed is fast, the forming material price is low, can make the color prototype, the powder plays a supporting role in the forming process, and after the forming, it is easy to remove.




4. Inkjet technology (Ployjet)


Slide back and forth along the X axis to line the molding chamber with an ultra-thin layer of photosensitive resin. After each layer is laid, the ultraviolet bulb on the side of the sprinkler frame immediately emits ultraviolet light to quickly cure and harden each layer of photosensitive resin. This step reduces the post-processing required to use other technologies. After each layer is printed, the formed chassis inside the machine will sink very jing accurately, and the nozzle continues to work layer by layer until the prototype is completed. Two different photosensitive resin materials are used in the molding: one is the molding material used to form the solid parts, and the other is a kind of colloidal support material used to support the parts.


Materials used: photosensitive resin polymerization materials


Accuracy: 0.1mm

5. Fused Deposition Modeling


The key to the FDM process is to keep the semi-flowing molding material just above the melting point (usually controlled to about 1℃ above the melting point). The FDM nozzle is controlled by CAD hierarchical data so that the fuse material in the semi-flowing state (the diameter of the wire is generally more than 1.5mm) is extruded from the nozzle and solidified to form a thin layer of contour shape. The thickness of each layer ranges from 0.025 to 0.762 mm, and the whole part model is formed one layer on top of the other.


Raw materials used in FDM process: thermoplastic materials, such as ABS, PC, PLA, etc., are fed in filamentous form


Accuracy: 0.025 ~ 0.762 mm


Features:


System structure principle and operation is simple, low maintenance cost, system operation safety, can be directly used for lost wax casting, can form any complex degree of parts, support removal is simple, no chemical cleaning
