In the hand plate model occupation, grinding can be said to be a necessary link in the process of making the hand plate, the hand plate through cnc processing, the surface will occur many burr and knife marks, so they need to be polished, generally choose sandpaper for grinding, perhaps choose to use polishing machine for polishing.

Methods of polishing:

(1) Mechanical grinding: large area construction, in order to improve work efficiency, mechanical grinding method can be used, such as electric grinding machine disc type and vibration type.

(2) dry grinding: using sandpaper for grinding, suitable for hard and brittle paint grinding, its disadvantage is that the operation process will produce a lot of dust, affecting environmental health.

(3) wet grinding: water sandpaper dipped in water can reduce wear marks, improve the smoothness of the coating, and save sandpaper and labor, but after water grinding should pay attention to spraying basic paint, one is to wait for the water grinding layer completely dry before dry coating basic paint, otherwise the paint layer is very easy to white, and the substrate with strong water absorption is not suitable for water grinding.

Problems to pay attention to when polishing the hand board:

1. Roughing and grinding choose some very coarse sandpaper, remove the surface of the very coarse burr and then fine lines of grinding, sandpaper can be divided into 220,400,800,1000 and so on different grades, the larger the sandpaper, the smaller the number, the more coarse the sandpaper.

2. The general surface is rough, and the flat surface needs to be obtained by sanding, so the grinding can reduce the roughness of the surface of the hand board.
